Great Opportunity and Place for Employment

Pros

Starting with the company, I had no previous recruiting experience and wasn't sure what I was getting into. Immediately upon starting, I was set up with an excellent account manager and team that has taught me what I need to know to be able to succeed. There is a lot of room for continual growth as an employee at Revolution Technologies, which is something I was looking for in a company. The management is very easy to work for and very knowledgeable. They give clear expectations of what they expect and they leave it up to the individual to go after the open jobs and get them filled. The work environment is one that i have never experienced in previous jobs. Because of the spoken expectations, the employees know what they need to do to during the day to meet their numbers, and at the same time, it has also been made a point for the employees, as a group, to interact with each other, which has in turn, made for a happy work environment that I look forward to going into daily.

Pros

The company has a great work enviornment, and a very low turnover rate, and plenty of room for growth. Like any job if you work hard, you can make a lot of money and develop a great career. Company has a great reputation in the market so it is a easy sell to your clients and the enviornment is fun.

Cons

The company is growing very fast, so the enviornment is fast pass with a lot of energy. If you are looking for a place to not work, and just get by everyday this is not the place. Managment takes interest in your success and holds you accountable.

Don't bother. Go somewhere else and get a real job instead of working as a "recruiter" or should I say call center rep.

Very laid back. If you have a dirty sense of humor you will have fun working here. The owner buys you pizza every Friday. Every quarter the owner takes you out to a bar or some activity for "team building" activities. If you have a good account manager your work experience will be much better than others.

Cons

Prepare to have a low starting salary 25-32 k. Prepare to work 6-8 months earning very little or no commission. You'll have to put up with inappropriate comments and racist comments against minorities from the staff and the CEO. Management doesn't speak professionally to recruiters. They will yell at you versus teaching you and complain about everything. If you don't drink and party with the owner and staff you will not reap the benefits of favoritism. Very high turnover. Your starting salary will be based on if you have recruiting experience and what you studied in college. Someone with an it degree will have to be a junior recruiter and split half their commissions that are alreay minimal for six months with their account manager where someone with a MIS degree will start as a technical recruiter and not have to split. There is favoritism based on appearance. If you are not attractive you will have to listen to fat jokes and the CEO talk about ugly people. If you are attractive you will get hit on. I hope you like having everyone in your personal business as well.
