      Pros

      Revvity is a genuinely supportive place to work, with a strong focus on collaboration and innovation. There’s a clear emphasis on giving people opportunities to grow, take on meaningful work, and build skills beyond their immediate role. The culture is inclusive, and in my experience colleagues are engaged, knowledgeable, and willing to help. I really enjoy working here and have felt well supported by my manager and the wider leadership team, which has contributed positively to my overall experience.

      Like many large global organisations, processes can sometimes feel complex.

      Very unhealthy, toxic working environment

      Pros

      Building is nice, coffee is free. Some truly amazing colleagues—but undervalued and buried under the chaos caused by toxic management.

      Cons

      Poor scientific acumen. Perhaps because of this, the focus has shifted from innovation toward services and short-term results. A few problematic managers are disrespectful, disregard input, rely on high-pressure tactics, and engage in projection and gaslighting to deflect from their own insecurities and limited scientific and interpersonal skills. Despite the unsurprisingly high turnover, HR and upper management seem either unaware of the issue or unwilling to address it, which ends up normalising poor behaviour and demoralising the team. There would likely be even higher turnover if the biotech job market were more favourable.

      Decent Place to Work, Still Finding Its Footing

      Pros

      The company’s work in life sciences and diagnostics is interesting, especially if you're into science or healthcare. You get to feel like you're contributing to something that matters. Teams are generally supportive and easy to work with. People are knowledgeable and willing to help out. There’s a decent amount of flexibility depending on your manager and team. Some roles offer hybrid or remote options. With its global presence, there are chances to collaborate with teams from different countries, which can be a good learning experience.

      Cons

      Since the company split off from PerkinElmer, it's still going through a lot of changes. Things like internal systems, processes, and communication can feel a bit disorganized at times. Career growth isn’t always clear, and development opportunities can vary depending on your department. Some of the tools and systems feel a bit outdated or clunky, which slows things down. The pace of change can be tiring if you’re looking for a more stable, structured environment.
