Pros

-Work from home -Pay is great the first year -Descent environment -Great benefits -Zero micromanagement -Awesome industry -As Account Executive you receive support from Account Managers. -Company provides great tools: tablets, cell phone, printer, ink, and great car allowance. -Dining benefits -C level executives are great people very humble and open to maintain a great environment -value of the product is great however several merchants have had a bad experience because some reps don't do the best for the client.

Cons

-AEs are extremely territorial -Not much of team work environment -Management is not involved they usually throw the ball to Account managers or corporate office. -As an AE you have to deal with a ton of paperwork and collecting many documents from merchants. Deals could take several weeks and sometimes months due to the documents and paperwork needed from merchants. - The sales process is really simple if you a true professional, unfortunately many deals specially the access to capital part get reworked by the corporate office. You have to revisit the same client many times to renegotiate every deal in order to be approved. -You don't have protected territories in your market. In Houston for example there is an AE who is extremely territorial and she will play dirty. And there is no need for that as there is a ton of restaurants and leads in the Houston Market. Same situation for the Dallas market. - No proper training. You kind of learn as time goes. Make sure to log in every activity on salesforce. Or you might find yourself without a job.

Pros

You will meet a ton of awesome co-workers who you will have a chance to work with and learn from. A great place to start if looking for an entry level role.

Cons

There is a severe lack of leadership present within the company. There is a lack of longevity within the organization and decisions are often made from an emotional place. You will find very few subject matter experts within the organization that can help you grow and learn more about the industry and your role in it. Management is constantly trying to put out fires instead of trying to grow the company. If you are looking for a stress free stable work environment, this is not an ideal place to look.

Pros

Not sure where all the whining is coming from in some of the posted reviews. Rewards Network is an established 29 year-old company that was way ahead of the technology. Now that our digital world has changed so drastically, this company is truly relevant and has other companies playing catch-up. I'm in sales where you run your own business. You sail or fail. I have been in sales for years and one thing has never changed. Those who do not meet quota get moved out. Maybe that is tough pill for the new generation to swallow, but it is life. The support and ramp up to build your book is more than satisfactory. Your ability to make money is equal to the effort you put in on a daily basis. Rewards Network has been a fantastic place to work. I find the all the sales team very helpful and supportive. Current Leadership is very strong and focused. Their message is consistent and clear. 2014 and 2015 will be a transformational time for Rewards Network as new technology and partnerships increase our advantage over any other marketing company that is focused on the restaurant industry. I am enjoying the ride. I mentioned I have been a dining member for 12 years. I know this business model as a consumer and as an employee. It works in both worlds as a win-win. What more could you ask for?

Cons

There has been a lot of change over the past 24 months. The past 9 months have been very stable and the direction is clear and positive. Turnover is a problem which is being addressed head-on. We must hire better people.
