Pros

I enjoyed my direct manager. I liked the employees I trained. I originally liked a lot of things but this ended up not being the right situation for me.

Cons

Sitting on HR as a sales trainer created issues around strategy as HR individuals do not specialize in sales so we didn't see eye to eye and that caused tension. Most of the concerns I had have been outlined in the other posts so I recommend reading through them. I am not here to sling mud but I will cosign on everything I have read that was negative and I will say that I was extremely lucky to have been laid off so I could find a much better opportunity at company where my skills are respected and I am valued vs spoken to and treated in a condescending manner.

Pros

Remote work New partners Contract modernization is better Good people Pretty unique product

Cons

Over time, our "None Loan" products have become notably more expensive, creating a tough sell in the market. The cost structure like requiring $150k for a $100k straight cash advanced paired with unhelpful disclosure agreements, makes our jobs harder. In 2024, the situation worsened with the compensation plan reducing by 20%, significantly impacting our earnings. This shift requires us to work harder for reduced compensation. It's a challenging environment, and I believe it would be eye-opening for our C-level and director-level executives to experience these sales hurdles firsthand. I doubt any of them can go out and even sell two of our products in a month. All they do is talk garbage on zoom calls about going out and getting more. After nearly seven years in this role, the constant grind without proportional reward has led to a sense of burnout. I know a lot of top performers looking for a new role.

Micromanage to death

Pros

Direct Deposit to bank on payday

Cons

This company is very old and outdated. They claim that they're a cool tech company which brought shivers down my spine when they said it. Ever heard of As400? That's their operating system. Senior leadership team down to field employees are nearing retirement and mediocrity is the norm here. Most leaders have absolutely no idea how to lead people. Instead, they will micromanage you to death. Please see other reviews its true. If you're nearing retirement, this place might be for you - until they dump you cold. Proceed with caution. You've been warned.
