Pros
The pros are minimal but the nursing staff is nice and professional.
Cons
The facilities are forty years old and out of date to the point of being cost effective to replace than to update. Leadership is based out of Chapel Hill so there is no real connection between individual facility leadership is disconnected in relationship to their employees. The current leadership throughout is currently more concerned about politics(keeping masking and other universal protections in place, etc.) even though standards set by state leadership(which runs the entire system) have changed to lesser restrictions or that the job may not require said protections. Benefits are very expensive and based on Full/Part-time employment outside of the plan. There is a high turnover rate caused by: an aging staff, how COVID is being handled, and a disconnect between the state, system head, and the individual leaderships.
