Pros

Very professional and result-driven while on the same time very open-minded and comfortable to work for. Lots of opportunities.

Cons

Distance with HQ and weak corporate ID due to several subsidiaries. However recommended for anyone looking for rewarding challenges.

Steady jobs, disjointed setup

Pros

The pay is reasonable, there is potential for growth in the industry, REXEL are a well known brand, there is opportunity for huge growth online, good company training days/team building exercises/parties, very steady jobs with good benefits (though don't expect to get your bonus, ever)

Cons

Too many middle managers, at ground level far too many people only see there job so nobody knows who to forward things through to which makes for a disjointed setup, far too many decision makers only see 1 thing at a time and make decisions at the lowest common denominator to fix 1 thing at a time... as such you end up with systems also being very disjointed, some jobs have very high workloads and some have almost nothing - the jobs seem to have been created without full understanding of the roles

Everything is a "Fire"

Pros

You will learn to sink or swim - this is a pro in the sense you are learning a valuable skill in business. Your peers are smart, quick and very capable at their jobs so no worrying about the level of competency. The VP's and executives know what they are doing - it's a nice thing to be able to look up to your leaders.

Cons

When you are constantly working in "fire" mode, not only do you lose momentum and passion, but you also lose focus and the freedom of creativity. The company is a dinosaur in terms of where it should be in the B2B competitive space - you're having to teach what and why in addition to fire drills and deliverables. Employees don't feel that their work is valued or appreciated, and the turnover rate is high. Work / life balance is weak, and the stiff and old fashioned office culture is detrimental to your career contentment.
