Pros

The regionl@ branch managers are really nice but the UK is divided up into North and south and the area managers can get a bit sales happy. Understandably, but sometimes the operational teams let you down. This may have improved as I left a while ago. My branch manager was a pleasure to work with but those above him were a nightmare. I think also the company has a D&I issue, and tend to promote and focus on their cronies. Pay was decent at the time, but I should have asked for more to begin with. Big company can afford to pay staff decent wage

Cons

Mismanaged service Company bosses that are out of touch and don't care about staff. Won't even greet you when walking into your office. Very pushy area managers

Pros

Colleagues are friendly and nice.

Cons

1. Subpar HR Strategy with Zero Improvements: •Quickly hire and fire without merits whatsoever. Then rehire new people to replace the void. An example is their MT program where they hired many trainees over the course of 2-3 years then fired most of them at once even though some did not have a chance to complete the program. •Care and benefits for employees are minimal. Mainly focus on compensating the top management. Terrible reward system for people who do most of the work. •During my time with the company, I did not observe any major improvements these poor practices. •Promotes too young/inexperienced managers too fast, especially for senior positions. Top management are mostly white although many are not proficiently qualified. •They just slot in titles and rankings as they please, causing very unfair corporate structure. •Favoritism plays out blatantly where incompetent many without actual capabilities are kept while those showing strong performances are let go. •The strategy can be concluded as the closer you are to the big boss, the more reward you can reap and the faster you climb the ladder. 2. Inadequate business management and strategy: •The structure and organization of the company are poor, which caused the political frictions, resulting in departments working in silo and unhealthily fighting with one another. •Despite mentioning business is not doing well, the company still spends lots of monies for business travelling or new hires. •Many regional functions are huge cost centers but do not deliver positive results. •Quite a number of managers are not able to demonstrate sufficient know-how of the industry. •Many costly and meaningless projects. Not recommend entering this company if you would want to grow the career and knowledge in the logistics industry.

Cons

- salary is not as good as other companies - if you are not within the radar of the management team you do not get that much opportunities
