      Great Until Layoff

      Work from home, fun team, meaningful mission.

      Cons

      HR did not match salary to experience which led to layoff at what seemed like a regularly scheduled event (second major layoff round in one year).

      Flexible schedule but poor PTO

      Pros

      Work from home is great, manager is great at being flexible with scheduling and the work/mission is good.

      Cons

      They claim to promote work life balance/taking time off but 3 weeks of PTO with no separate sick days for the first 3 years is terrible. My previous job gave me 6 weeks a year plus 15 sick days. Also, in order to bill clients we have to record our hours to the quarter hour BUT we're not allowed to report less than 40 hours without using PTO. Most exempt jobs are exempt in order to allow you to simply get your work done for the same pay no matter how long it takes.
