Pros

Wow! Where do I start?! The people are amazing! The R&D boss is like Austin Powers...bald head and calls himself "Puffy." Love it! CEO says that he is under-qualified and needs to fire himself...very open and transparent, fast-scaling company. Generous as well. Rhythm even gave me bonuses even during a down year. This is truly an entrepreneurial company. Very sexy.

Cons

Trouble is people leave large companies in the region to join Rhythm and large companies and fast-growth companies have nothing in common. Rhythm needs to just not hire bodies with a great resume...wait for the right entrepreneurial spirit.

Pros

Not many. There are some very good people there who got caught up in a very dysfunctional company. The location was close for me too.

Cons

The CEO / Founder is the number one Con. He has a huge ego, makes poor decisions, spends the company's money like it is his piggy bank, and likes to micromanage everyone. He held a 9AM meeting every day and everyone had to come as a way to micromanage everyone. He is very impulsive and fires people on a whim. A lot of good people have left. At least 60% turnover rate in less than 12 months. The President left, 3 Vice Presidents left and there were only 4 Vice Presidents there! Please read all the reviews. Notice that there are not any so-so reviews (3 stars), only a bunch of 1 star reviews with a few 5 star reviews mixed in. I don't know for sure, but I think the CEO wrote all the 5 star reviews himself!

Pros

Fast-growing company. The company has grown every year from its inception. In 2014, Rhythm Engineering will not only grow significantly, but will double its revenue. I received a generous raise this year and expect a healthy bonus at the end of the year. Unlike the other companies I have worked for, Rhythm Engineering management expects the team to work hard and play hard. I feel that I can personally make a significant contribution to the growth of the company and make a difference in the world around me. I love it!!

Cons

I gave this some thought and I have no negatives to report! I love my job!
