Pros

Joining Ria Money Transfer as a Junior Software Engineer has been an incredible journey so far, and I owe a huge thanks to my recruiter, Alek, for making this possible. Alek's dedication, guidance, and support throughout the hiring process were instrumental in securing this role, and I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity. The recruitment process at Ria Money Transfer was comprehensive, consisting of three rounds: the initial recruiter screening, a challenging coding assessment, and a final rigorous technical interview. Each step pushed me to showcase my skills and knowledge in different aspects of software engineering. The coding assessment was a stimulating challenge, allowing me to demonstrate my problem-solving abilities and coding proficiency. It was an opportunity to showcase my skills in action, and I appreciated the chance to tackle real-world scenarios. The final technical interview was rigorous yet rewarding. It tested my technical acumen, problem-solving approach, and ability to think on my feet. The questions were thought-provoking, reflecting the high standards at Ria Money Transfer. Thank you, Alek, and the entire Ria Money Transfer team, for welcoming me into this dynamic environment. I am excited about the journey ahead and the chance to grow both professionally and personally within this fantastic company!"

Pros

The other developers in the Denver office before it closed where wonderful.

Cons

Everything else, especially the team in California, a crew that sets employees up to fail even when they're competent.

Pros

My experience at Ria consisted of only one pro: - I met a lot of amazing people in the Denver office; people I hope I'll know my whole life.

Cons

The cons consist of the following transgressions: - A Thriving Culture of Blaming, Devaluation and Shaming Employees by Remote Offices - Ineffective and Unprofessional Middle Management in Remote Offices - Lack of Knowledge Regarding Software Development Implementation and Methodology by Remote Offices - Lack of Cohesive Teamwork by Remote Offices - Lack of Work/Life Balance - Poor Communication by Remote Offices - Promises of Career Advancement Never Fulfilled - Unprofessional Upper Management in Remote Offices
