      Pros

      Challenging environment that really promotes professional growth if you're willing to take it on. Working with very intelligent and creative students in all aspects of your job.

      Cons

      Lower pay relative to other universities. Difficulty understanding senior management's decisions despite attempts at communicating vision. Too much seperation between groups at the same company.

      Great Place to research

      Pros

      If you are an undergraduate at Rice I strongly recommend trying to do research. I did research with Lin Zhong and I strongly recommend it.

      Cons

      It is a good experience, but it is more of for the experience not the money. Though you do make more money than you would doing nothing. :)
