Pros

Benefits, i.e. 401k matching and PTO

Cons

If you are a high level watchmaker you can flaunt mask policy. If you are the spouse of management you can walk around the workshop without shoes. We are having "training" on items we already know are issues, but there is no "training" on how we/they are going to fix things. Severe micro-management. No matter what your suggestion you will get the nod and smile "good idea", then NOTHING EVER CHANGES. Watchmakers are leaving, not coming into the company. We are asked "Why is your production low?" We say; You keep having me help in other departments/tasks, you keep changing how long I have to do an assigned task, I can't get into a rhythm because we don't have spare parts. Can you please FIX ANY of this? "No, just up your production." HOW??????

Pros

My current position at the Client Relations Center has the potential to be the best job I've ever had. I have been here for less than a year, but every day I am growing as a leader. There have been a lot of changes throughout the process, but I've seen nothing but growth. Growth in business, in people, and in the way we work with each other. The work/life balance has been incredible and it has made life for me so much better. The Senior Leadership truly cares about their people, while raising the standard of what a client relation center looks and how it operates. I've been so thankful for my experience so far in every way.

Cons

I feel that no matter the position, there is a huge learning curve. You have to learn so much, so quickly. But I do not view this as a terrible thing. The leadership has told me so many times though to not worry and understand that it takes time to get the hang of my position. While I consider this a con only because I want to feel like I am great at what I do, it is great to know that if you are willing to learn and to grow, you will be supported by your leaders.
