Pros

You learn a lot of technical and transferable soft skills. Hybrid schedule. There are some genuine, awesome, and truly amazing people there that care about your career growth.

Cons

It's about remaining billable. When it's slow, you may work less than 40 hours. When it's busy, you may have to work more than 40 hours, but it's possible to have to only bill 40 hours because a project may be over budget. Depends on the project. They'd also rather keep the bad apples in the organization because of their technical expertise and industry experience, despite the fact that these bad apples can't manage people due to poor management and workplace culture skills.

Cons

sometimes there are too many tech projects at once, and management does not know what they want to prioritize
