Pros

The work we do at Right Management is very gratifying. The candidates are wonderful to work with, and the staff is very dedicated and hard working. I love working with the team I am assigned to.

Cons

They do not pay a living wage. Many very hard working employees, with long-standing and very good performance ratings, have not been given raises in 5 or more years. Benefits have been sliced to a bare minimum. Promotion potential is low to non-existent, and some adjunct employees who have worked with them for many years have never been hired on a permanent basis. They use part-time and adjunct staff to defray costs and benefits.

Pros

You get to leave at 2:00 on summer Fridays and 3:00 the day before a holiday.

Cons

No pay raise in 5 years. No engagement from management. Clear impression that if you don't like it, there's someone else that will take your place. Management shows videos of their lavish European/IIsland vacations as "what we did over the summer" while the rest of us live paychec-to-paycheck.

Pros

Most all of the consultants are highly qualified people who are truly committed to helping people at very difficult time. Good resources to offer clients in terms of online tools, training materials, etc. Pay is generally good.

Cons

Their staffing model of using mostly hourly, part-time consultants means work is variable and benefits are virtually non-existent. Also, they don't seem to really listen to the contributions of the staff on the frontlines. Originally worked there full-time before their staffing model changed and it was much better, But they hired tons of new consultants during the economic downturn as the economy improved they made successive rounds of cutbacks in staff, hours, and even hourly rate. Everyone was either affected by hour/pay reductions and everyone was on the line for layoffs. I survived them all before I left which was due to so much uncertainty.
