Pros
The outplacement staff are thoroughly competent, compassionate, and give tremendous value to candidates. Materials are well thought-out, and they are diligent about providing support for the changing job market. These are wonderful people, in spite of poor treatment by management. Manpower's vision for the company is a good one - once the aging leadership retires, there is real potential.
Cons
The consulting staff is highly variable. While many are competent, there is absolutely no original thought or intellectual integrity. Most consultants are interested only in coasting, and very little interest in supporting or developing younger staff. As one project coordinator said, "Right Management is where old consultants go to die."
