Pros

The company has been great to work for. I have seen many changes as the company has strived to improve everything from their IT Department/Accounting Department/to overall work environment - the company listens to their employees. Upper management is tremendous - they have an open door policy and will listen to their employees. The work itself can be quite difficult at times - but if you have an "A" type or "Self Starter" personality, you will find the challenges extremely rewarding. The company continues to grow with the times and is aggressive at making changes to the benefit of the employees.

Cons

Simple truth - the work can be extremely challenging (in both difficulty and time needed to complete assignments on a tight schedule) and is not for everyone.

Rimkus is a wonderful company that I loved working for! They truely care about their employees and families! They expect superb work, which says a lot about their values and their clients! Your opportunity to grow and learn is endless at Rimkus! They want their employees knowledgeable and will do everything to make that happen! If you are looking for a well rounded, fun, and caring company to work for, Rimkus is the place for you!!

I really do not have any cons as I did not encounter any problems at Rimkus.

Pros

Stability: this is clearly a company that people come to for their career. The average expert tenure is 12 years. Opportunity: this company continuously promotes from within; I have benefited first-hand here. I started out as a staff consultant and now manage a branch. Top Notch Support: it has been amazing having access to structural, electrical, mechanical, Biomechanical engineers all in-house. The training gained through joint collaborative projects has been amazing

Cons

Forensic engineering tends to supply higher volume of smaller projects. Variability in workload does occur, but typically remains easily manageable.
