Working at a tech company can be difficult right now

Pros

I had a great manager that was very helpful and didn't micromanage. She enabled me to do my job and taught me more skills then when I came in.

Cons

At least somewhat siloed, not very cross-functionally friendly. HR doesn't truly have a seat at the table yet.

Pros

The company is very fast paced, never a dull moment. Very good people to work with. People always look for ways to solve problems instead of getting in the way. People are fun and enjoy each other.

Cons

The company is very fast paced. Sometimes they do not think about the longer term consequences of doing a project, they just launch it and work out the issues on the fly.
