Pros

Good culture, excellent people, highly intelligent management.

Cons

Not the fault of the company, but the economic climate is leading to a wave of outsourcing and downsizing in the mining sector. Inevitably the larger companies are less agile in making decisions.

Pros

Good benefits, decent pay, can get diverse experience working in the many different areas.

Cons

Laid off so many people that employees only have time to "put out fires" instead of completing preventive maintenance and improving plant operations. If you are not a chosen individual there is no room for advancement even if you receive good performance reviews every year by your direct bosses.
