Pros

Benefits, other staff and co workers are smart and dedicated. Meet the CEO, seems like a genuine and down to earth person.

Cons

Complete lack of self awareness from recently promoted US based manager who acted with such an insane level of unprofessionalism and idiocracy given level of access. Inability to take critism and acts with immense amounts arrogance while treating staff poorly. Uses implementation of any work as a matric for success because they know they wont be questioned on it.

Pros

Good benefits keep people around, many of the folks below the useless L2 middle management layer (though neutered) are very smart and driven, often more qualified than their executive counterparts.

Cons

Nepotism is causing Ripple to fumble the biggest bag in history. The “friends of Brad” or “FOBs” as they’re referred to by the general employee population, need to go, and be replaced with competent subject matter experts in their respective fields. Everybody has the power to say no, nobody has the power to say yes. You will likely have more experience in your field than your executive business leader.

Pros

Competitive compensation and benefits. Good amenities.

Cons

People work hard at Ripple, but there is remarkably little to show for it. Priorities shift constantly, and every new fire drill becomes the top priority, pushing everything else aside. There is no consistent product strategy. If you want to build products that create real customer value, this is probably not the right environment for you. It can be surprisingly difficult to point to meaningful outcomes despite the time and effort invested.
