Pros
Exciting, challenging work -- the role can look different month to month which keeps things interesting. Lots to learn and lots of smart people around you to learn from. Easy to trust in the product. You get out what you put in -- lots of quick growth is possible for high performers. The high-growth nature of the team means that most folks are bought in on building a generational company and are driven for success. With the hard work you put in and the rapid growth, I feel invested and proud of the result that I see both in the product and within my quickly growing team.
Cons
Many of the pros can also be cons. Challenging job, so there's a lot to keep up with and very little down time when things are "coasting along" -- this keeps things interesting but it does mean that you can fall behind easily if you're not keeping up. Very rapid growth, which means lots of opportunity but also a diligence to be "going and seeing" and keeping the wheels on the car while it's moving. The infrastructure within the Support team is always improving and scaling, which means there's a feeling of things never being complete, but also means that if things aren't working, then change is always right around the corner.
