Pros

Decent pay/ability to hit quota, amazing teammates and direct managers

Cons

Parker's first time getting to this point at any company, and the blind leading the blind is starting to feel like more frequent of a problem than not. If you care about upward mobility while also being able to be great at what you do, this isn't the place. Revolving door of senior leadership in product/eng up to the CTO, to the point where it's hard to feel like the caliber needed to really execute on the valuation will be willing to work here. We're at an inflection point where either executive leadership will exhibit a pivot from the small startup mentality to one that understands how to attract, retain and build top talent, or we'll stagnate and lose to the bigger companies that have already figured this out. For an HR-focused company to have extremely uncompetitive benefits, no budget for teams to bond outside of work, etc. and no career development/enablement opportunities beyond true SMB is a bit strange. Like most high growth companies, the job is grueling and requires long hours and there's very little to offset that. For high performers, it's unfortunately extremely easy to find better opportunities elsewhere.

Gas lighting at best, mental abuse at worst.

Pros

You will learn to push your boundaries and be better for it. There's a lot of opportunity for self-improvement and learning based on the effort you put into it.

Cons

Disparity among different groups. They let you suffer and expect you to push more, while promising you recognition and compensation that will never come. Furthermore, groups that are supposed to be "technical/escalated" support continue to be paid more to do less. There is little to no accountability for the bad-faith actors here. Ninety percent of HR is entirely incompetent and spends their days writing and flagging reviews all day rather than working to enrich and improve the work culture.

Cons

-They ship broken new products to fast ie, Global Payroll -Their leadership is like the people from meangirls, on slack they will constantly post about other companies and rain on anything they do to make themselves better, however the writing on the wall is that competition is coming and fierce -Lack of empathy from the top down, poor morals, very arago
