Pros

Been with Rippling for close to 6 years and there were several versions of the company where each year felt like learning something new, with unique set of challenges in pushing company to 2.5X every 10 months over the course of this time. - Started as an IC in Rippling by prototyping product ideas and figuring out product market fit and company quickly outgrew that phase to winning medium sized business who were hungry for power user level features - Last few months working on shipping products globally, across different countries and challenges around each geography -- which is unique and provides immense opportunities and learning to solve complex problems at scale. - Company has evolved a lot on interview standards -- from solving leetcode hard problems in 45 minutes to giving opportunities for super smart engineers & entrepreneurs to prove their true potential - Expectation from teams across geography has also changed by hiring more local leads / managers and subject matter experts. - Already happy to see 5 Product Managers locally to reduce intense product discussion happening late night ISTs, thanks to top level management for investing heavily on the local hiring and looking forward for more local leaders.

Cons

With fast pace, sometimes the deadlines are promised already to customer with several unknowns in place. Aligning the expectations across different stakeholders and negotiating the deadline could be done better with company maturing at entirely different scale now

Pros

Strong engineering leadership Great product Competitive compensation Invests in developer experience Teams consist of all levels of engineers Interesting problems to solve Sense of urgency

Cons

Fast paced. Sometimes teams don't make the best engineering decisions and people continue to pay for the tech debts. This company isn't for people who want to be on auto-pilot and chill.

Pros

Rippling stands out as a company that truly values and nurtures the potential of its employees. From the moment I joined, I was given substantial responsibilities that pushed me to learn and grow. Initially focused on building design systems, I found myself gradually entrusted with more complex and impactful projects. For example, I played a key role in developing a date-time library and a translation framework, both of which are crucial for our product's functionality and scalability. This kind of exposure is unparalleled and has significantly enhanced my skill set. The learning curve is steep, but it is incredibly rewarding. The trust and autonomy given to employees encourage innovation and ownership, making every project a valuable learning experience.

Cons

Rippling could benefit from improving its mentorship programs, especially for senior employees. While the environment is conducive to self-driven learning, having structured mentorship and guidance would further enhance the experience.
