Pros

Made some good pals being here

Cons

Too much to go into but previous reviews sum up quite well what is wrong with Rise, it is dangerously cultish with a bully culture throughout They lie about most things too

Thanks for your feedback. We welcome all reviews – positive or constructive – as long as they reflect real experiences at Rise. We’ve recently seen a few reviews that raise concerns due to inconsistencies with what we know internally and our records. Where appropriate, we’ve flagged these to Glassdoor for review, to make sure the platform remains fair and trustworthy for everyone. For anyone considering joining Rise: we encourage you to speak directly with our team, visit our offices, and judge us on our people, purpose and day-to-day experience. Pros

Colleagues are generally helpful and friendly, close bonds are created through the shared experience of difficulty.

Cons

Resembles a cult - ideological brainwashing, expected to learn and recite a manual, of which you have to learn (from memory) word for word otherwise you are deemed incapable of doing the job. The company promotes 'ideas and innovation' but you are unable to try new things or do it in your own way otherwise you are called out and humiliated in front of others. Frequently humiliating/patronising employees at their desks, this was my own personal experience as well as hearing it from across the office happening to other people. Favouritism when handing out accounts. If you begin to struggle with the toxic positivity/environment, you are lead to believe this is due to your own shortcomings/motivation/mindset, very damaging to an individual. Colleagues dancing around the managers for fear of losing their job, as they can and will drop you whenever they please. Told that the 'company will always win' really odd and slightly threatening tone for an 8am morning meeting. I would highly recommend to look elsewhere if beginning a career in recruitment, this is not a professional place and is really not good for your mental wellbeing.
