      The Recent Restructures are Killing Morale

      Pros

      - With the long working hours comes camaraderie, and a family-feel at the lower volume levels - Should you choose to travel, you are very well accommodated - Working the auctions can be rewarding

      Cons

      - Recent restructuring has increased the politics, taken away the culture and feeling of being valued. Employees are becoming far more expendable, the shady wheels get the grease, and what used to be a culture for the customer has become an ego-fueled, numbers-driven world where the customer is becoming an afterthought. - New policies and management are creating a culture that takes trust away from the employee. Managers are being put in place to 'watch over' rather than support and coach.

      Pros

      Fast paced environment with weekly live auctions. Need to be a self starter and manage assigned tasks yourself, collecting information on your own to make the best business choice. This company offers remote working to both full time employees and contractors. Provides Lenovo laptop running windows 10. On site cafeteria with good food options, options to eat near by.

      Cons

      Since 2019 Contracts are now 1 - 1.5 year contracts. Full employment is now the best option for positions with longer ranged opportunities and assignments.

      Pros

      Worked in their financial services division. Great place to learn some sales skills over the phone. Good place for new grades to start their careers in business. Rrsp and stock matching plus good extended health plan.

      Cons

      Call center culture. Can feel a micro managed : expected hit micro targets including number of phone calls per day. Base salary is low.
