Pros

A business pedigree that was built over decades with trust and integrity. Sales tools to put you one step ahead of the competition. Great camaraderie amongst team mates. Run your territory as if its your own business.

Cons

Work/Life balance is always a struggle. This can be a 24/7 ordeal. Orange sale day shirts!!!!!! Oy Vey!!!!

Pros

From the business model to the culture, I'm so impressed and pleased to be working in such a professional and fun environment. The business is growing exponentially and the work place is filled with people fun to work with, and passionate about their work. The management is very supportive and focused on building a great product and a great culture. With the strong leadership Ritchie Bros has, it's a great place to grow a career or tackle new challenges.

Cons

Absolutely none. I honestly can't find one single negative about working here.

Pros

If you work hard, long hours and like to spend time kissing up to management, this is the job for you. It also helps to have a friend that's in management before you're hired on

Cons

When I worked for Ritchie Bros, I noticed that almost everyone was related to someone or were friends with someone and hired on. After seeing this, it literally sucks out the drive to want to get ahead, knowing that they promote from within (their family or circles of friends). I'm pretty sure one employee was supposed to be fired but ended up being demoted and floated around with no distinctive job title. All because he's friends with management. Any where else, he would have been gone. It is an unfair, unsafe and unprofessional place to work.
