      Pros

      If you work hard, long hours and like to spend time kissing up to management, this is the job for you. It also helps to have a friend that's in management before you're hired on

      Cons

      When I worked for Ritchie Bros, I noticed that almost everyone was related to someone or were friends with someone and hired on. After seeing this, it literally sucks out the drive to want to get ahead, knowing that they promote from within (their family or circles of friends). I'm pretty sure one employee was supposed to be fired but ended up being demoted and floated around with no distinctive job title. All because he's friends with management. Any where else, he would have been gone. It is an unfair, unsafe and unprofessional place to work.

      With this role get ready to put in A LOT of work for very little payback. This was the lowest paying sales job I’ve ever experienced by any standard. Always hiring due to the ridiculous turn over rate and low employee satisfaction. I’d recommend saving your time and looking elsewhere.

      We are sorry to hear of your experience. This entry-level position is great for someone with strong skills in forging new relationships and has the ability to work within a start-up atmosphere. The compensation is a progressive pay for performance plan which includes uncapped commission, those with a strong work ethic and drive to be successful are rewarded well. The success of this team is mirrored by its rapid expansion over the past few years, where incredible career advancement opportunities are approached with a strong promote from within culture.

      Big company Decent benefits Gym Annual golf tournament Great culture The people is what makes the company better, it is a shame that management thinks it's them and rewards themselves for it

      Lower end of the salary scale Lowball mentality when making offers and raises Management philosophy is inconsistent Work continues to grow but salaries stay the same Annuals golf tournament is frowned upon for finance as it coincides with quarter end High turnover
