Pros

The only pro is the the pharmacy manager is a very nice guy and we get along well.

Cons

The main con is the extremely low pay. I've worked in the pharmacy for over 3 years and I've only gotten a 30 cent increase in pay and i still get under $8. We're always short of help and I'm the only part timer so I always have to work for anyone who is out sick or on vacation. They don't care if you already have plans or are overworked and they have no respect for your religious preferences. I'm Catholic and they're making me work Christmas day this year. I'm getting out of there the first chance I get.

Pros

The pay checks didn't bounce. Enjoyed the mispelling of the first name of the company. Should have been a sign that when they took over, this wasn't the "rite" job.

Cons

Increasing demands, increased workload, increased expectations. Every year. And decreased payroll. Every year. Worked for over 20 yrs as a manager. And spent the last 5 acting more as a cashier, stocker, ice cream scooper, bookeeper, photo tech, facer, filling coolers, sweeping, mopping, cleaning toilets, maintenance man, asset protection and having to read emails on the portal "3-5 times a day" per the dm. In case they needed to pass on information. Yet they didn't answer the phone when you called to pass on urgent information.

- In my position I had a lot of autonomy (Wellness Ambassador) - Learned a lot about sales and customer service - Became GNC certified and developed a keen sense of leadership

Cons

- Completely underpaid for the job required (described as a "marketing executive" paid less than the checkers) - Tricked out of taking promotions because I was "too good at my position to let me go" - No one understands my job within the company, constantly asked to do things that are not in my job description
