Pros

Good way to experience all facets of working in retail, as you end up doing everything from running the cash register, setting planograms, price changes, etc.

Cons

Shrinking payroll and raises. Because of this, employees have to pick up the slack and do even more than usual. Management routinely work long hours just to stay caught up because of this.

Pros

It was a fun place to work. It was informal and unprofession, but still a good summer or college job. No career potential.

Cons

Might be too unprofession and informal. Management doesn't get paid enough, therefore they take it out on hourly paid employees.
