Pros

Friendly people to work with at the store level. Descent health insurance benefits package. 20% employee discount off regular retail price.

Cons

Keep hiring corporate officers and cutting payroll in stores. impossible expectations for the allotted labor. No sale prices without their "discount card" which captures your shopping data. No "store card" for anyone wanting to retain their shopping anonymity. Usually only 2-3 people working outside pharmacy for the entire store, and usually only 2 cash registers for customers

Pros

It is a job and will pay your bills. Do not rely on your position, it could change at any time.

Cons

Constant changing programs, upper management afraid to offer too much information. Unexpected Lay-offs. Seniority means nothing to this company, too much power is given to middle management, sometimes the directives received by stores are misguided by the time they come all the way down the line from corporate.
