Pros

Money and benefits. Seriously that's about it.

Cons

The majority of persons in management positions seem more interested in their personal career growth than the well-being of the company or its employees. There is a general attitude toward pharmacists as typical employees instead of health care professionals, and customers instead of patients.

Pros

The customers are the best reason to work in retail period. I love helping people find what they need or seeing if I can special order a particular item for them. Working for Rite Aid however is a different story. Since I can get no overtime I have little time to actually help customers, which is what my main job description is about.

Cons

You cannot get any overtime at all. Corporate wants you to get everything done on time but sometimes you fall behind, whether it be due to changing holidays and seasons, lack of employees, etc. But hourly associates are forbidden to get overtime. Management would have to work 90 hours a week in some cases to stay ahead of the game.
