Pros

It's a good part time job to maintain while in school. Helps pay for gas and school. The best part is the people you work with in the store. If you get a good store, it is like having a second family. It can actually be fun to work. If you get a bad store... good luck.

Cons

Senior management is generally incapable of doing anything useful. They get mad about stupid things, worry about the unimportant things... and overlook the important ones.

A travesty of mismanagement...

Pros

The computer system for prescription order entry is superior. Nice employee discount and a network of thousands of locations with postition transfer capabilities.

Cons

As for the west coast... High turnover of upper management! Training is non-existent, poor follow through on corporate programs, lack of communication with Headquarters on the east coast. Low pay for pharmacy technicians and treated poorly. Mid-level retail pharmacist pay and treated worse.
