Pros

Decent employee discount Lots of exercise from walking between the register and back end, endlessly

Cons

I applied to be a cashier, but I had to stock shelves in the back end as well as ring up customers. On busy days, I wouldn't have time to finish stocking shelves because I was always at the register.

They are smaller stores so you work with a tight knit group usually and get to know your customers.

Corporate tends to underestimate the job their employees do and not appreciate them.
