Pros

The staff- we became like a family within a working environment.. we had ups and downs, but like any family we made it work.. our personalities are what makes us all unique. The customers- each and every one of them will be missed when we close our pharmacy for the last time.. they have been one of the main reasons I have stayed with this company for so long.. they have been the reason my store has stayed afloat for so long during the bankruptcy.. It's going to be a sad day when my store closes for the last time.. tears will be shed by staff and customers alike..

Cons

The pay never reflected what we should have been getting paid (unless you were there when it was Eckards).. the fact that the company is CLOSING all of its locations after emerging from bankruptcy less than 2 yrs ago.. corporate should have NEVER tried to "rebrand" after we emerged from bankruptcy, instead they should have worried about their employees and whether or not they were being paid fairly, as well as their customers who utilize the pharmacies.. these customers have been the ones who have been keeping these pharmacies alive, I truly believe that the higher ups have no clue what these store closures are doing to not just the staff involved, but also the customers (my store's customers are truly heartbroken and upset by our sudden closure).. MAKE SURE YOU INFORM YOUR CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE STORES CLOSING BECAUSE IT MAKES US LOOK BAD WHEN THEY HAVE TO READ IT ONLINE, HEAR IT ON THE NEWS, OR HEAR IT FROM THE STAFF (yeah our customers know we are closing, but our higher ups FAILED to appropriately and RESPECTFULLY give a date of closure).. so disappointing when your pharmacy staff has to inform the customers of the date..
