Pros

Dynamic Customer Interaction: Engaging with diverse customers daily enhanced my communication and customer service skills significantly. Valuable Retail Experience: Working at Rite Aid provided me with foundational experience in the retail industry, which proved to be valuable for my career development. Employee Discounts: The employee discount offered at Rite Aid allowed me to save on personal purchases, which was a nice perk. Flexible Scheduling: The job offered a degree of flexibility in scheduling, making it easier to balance work with personal commitments and responsibilities. Team Collaboration: The team-oriented environment fostered a sense of collaboration and support among colleagues.

Cons

Fast-Paced Environment: The retail setting at Rite Aid can be fast-paced, especially during peak hours or certain seasons, leading to an increased workload and pressure. Entry-Level Pay: The pay for entry-level positions, such as Sales Associate, is relatively lower compared to some other industries. Irregular Hours: The job often required working evenings, weekends, and holidays, which may not be suitable for those seeking a more regular schedule. Customer Challenges: Dealing with challenging or irate customers was occasionally demanding and required a high level of patience and problem-solving skills. Limited Advancement Opportunities: Advancement opportunities within the company appeared limited for entry-level positions, and career growth might necessitate transitioning to different roles or companies.

Pros

*Some of the Patients *Union benefits

Cons

*low pay *over worked *terrible management *racism * company core values not followed *no room for growth This company does not value nor care about its employees, they only care about the numbers (vaccines, prescriptions) . You are just a body, not a person or human being, and will not be appreciated. To add insult to emotional/mental injury, you will not be paid fairly.
