Pros

- Decent work-life balance - Remote work

Cons

- No organizational resources - Silo'd departments - Promotions are not merit-based - Redundant processes - Virtually no collaboration between Sales & Marketing The biggest red flag for potential job hunters in marketing is that they have no definition of marketing. Anything the organisation deems as "marketing" is tasked without support or resources. Prepare yourself for moving goal posts, being under-resourced at a ratio of 1 to 30, and an ever-changing job description without a title or pay.
