Pros

Most departments allow you to work on a maxi flex schedule which is nice.

Cons

No personal leave for the 1st year of employment. Also, since it's a contracting company you may not be guaranteed long term work if budgets get tight or contract change or end.

Pros

RiverTech management allowed me to do my job and allowed customer to define requirements. HR did a good job of answering questions.

Cons

Con is not about RiverTech but contract that I was on. Organization that hired me was not use to managing a Web Designer so I had very little oversight, which was nice, but also was not always sure of what customer wanted.

Pros

Amazing team cohesion; no micromanagement; leadership treats you like an adult. It’s a government contracting job but the squadron really goes out of their way to make you feel like part of the team.

Cons

PTO and Sick leave are combined and only 15 days total.
