Great place to work and a great exit from public accounting

Pros

- A lot of great people to work with, many of whom have extensive experience in public accounting - Better compensation than public accounting, at least at the associate level - Work from home is still possible and accepted, with no specific in-office requirement, unless your team travels to the client site.

Cons

- Rate of promotions is slower than public accounting counterparts, and the requirements to get promoted are a bit less clear. - Some lack of consistent personality/culture due to the acquisitive nature of the firm and PE backing.

The people are really great and I’ve had really good luck with my manager and projects I’ve been on

Cons

Not a lot of people come into the office and for someone who’s just starting out in their career and who is encouraged to work this can sometimes be difficult to meet people
