Pros

Salary is competitive, the environment is friendly and professional. Most units are teamwork-oriented, while others need work. It's just like any other hospital in the area, they just have better benefits.

Cons

There is no diversity in leadership positions. There is also not much room for advancement here. It's relatively easy to transition to other departments, but not to advance into leadership positions.

Unsafe ratios, poor management

Pros

Benefits, decent pay, and time off are okay. Several locations.

Cons

Management doesn’t care about what actual healthcare workers need or want. Very unsafe nurse to patient ratios currently. Other than nursing, many other disciplines don’t get shift differential, on call pay, or weekend differential.
