Pros

Most of Riverside's management are great to work for. Lots of opportunities for internal growth. Encourage career growth.

Cons

Education benefits are not competitive to other large health systems in the area. Although Riverside has been fair to me in terms of salary, there is a stigma that underpays its employees (when comparing Riverside's rates to its competitors) The organization as a whole is slow to accept any change. It is getting better; however, it has a long way to go.

Pros

Benefits are competitive for the region, strong training and education opportunities, tuition reimbursement offered from day 1 of employment.

Cons

Salary is always paid at the low end (for non-clinical positions), and it is difficult to make any significant changes in salary once employed.
