Pros

- Highly competitive pay - Awesome benefits packages - Fast-paced work environment - Full of extremely nice and accepting people - You get the time off you need, when you need it. Work/Life balance is great. - Tons of room to grow and advance your knowledge in your field

Cons

- The amount of work currently being pushed is a lot for the average employee, but it is expected with this company still working from the ground up to meet deadlines. Nothing too crazy for dedicated and hard working employees. As they say we are "Building The Plane While It's Flying"

Pros

Amazing culture, passionate and mission driven people here to change the world.

Cons

It is for those that want to change the world and have a great work ethic. If you want to 'cruise', then please choose somewhere else.

Pros

Yes RJ is a nice guy. Many of my coworkers are nice normal people.

Cons

It’s the kind of place where you need to be very careful what you say if you have any criticisms or problems. Dissent is not tolerated. You either are 110% committed or nothing. Other than that it’s pretty standard. Office move to Palo Alto shows that there is little concern for who’s currently here - all in the quest for better tech talent.

Hi there, thanks for posting your review. We’re glad to hear you’ve made positive connections on your team and with RJ. With respect to your concerns in flagging issues/problems, it is disappointing to learn that you believe constructive feedback is unwelcome. As we’re sure you’ve seen, scaling at this pace, has introduced a number of speedbumps, one of which is clear and effective internal communications - including recognizing that we could have communicated our office move more effectively. We hope that you’ll continue to be part of our journey at Rivian. As we build these feedback infrastructures across the organization and in our People teams, please reach out to anyone on our team with concerns. Thanks again, Rivian Team
