Pros

One of the fastest growing, most exciting things I've ever been a part of. Z, Rob and Saman genuinely care about everyone who trusts Roman to help them get the service they need, and they are fiercely loyal to employees. They have a vision for modern health care that is inspiring, yet seems incredibly attainable. Everyone works together to realize the collective vision of helping Roman's members, and there is incredible opportunity for employees to be heard, and understand the long and short term goals of the business.

Pros

A purpose-driven company that's using innovation to make a real difference in people's lives. The culture is optimistic, hugely motivated, collaborative, innovative and welcoming. This company truly cares about the people working here.

Cons

It's a very demanding job with the highest expectations for each and every employee. That's either a pro or a con, depending on the candidate. If you're not in it 100%, you're not going to be a good fit.

Pros

I have consistently been blown away by the incredible team at Roman. Not only is everyone incredibly supportive, but you can definitely feel an emphasis on the growth of the individual in parallel with the growth of the company. Having joined relatively recently to do very different work than what I did in my previous role, I was a bit nervous about the quick ramp up; however, it was surprisingly easy to jump right in. Everyone - from department heads, to pharmacists, to the engineering team, etc. - is happy to help. It doesn't hurt that we have some incredibly talented team members that seem to always make it work...

Cons

No company-specific cons, really, but it is a high-growth, fast-paced startup and that comes with some ambiguity and lots of moving parts.
