Pros
- Top player in the automotive industry. Access to cutting edge technology and management techniques - deal with the big players in the automobile makers - very international working environment (depending on department and location though) - good company for entry positioners to pick up the "tricks of the trade" - good benefits (if you are married) - stable job, almost not possible to get yourself fired - friendly working environment, almost family-like which is true for the whole group - entrusts employee with responsibility early on
Cons
- slow career advancement, especially if you are under 40 - very engineer-centric, non-technical professions might find few career opportunities
