Pros

The construction industry is tough, you must be prepared for long days, weekends, sometimes not the most idea areas to work. You must prepare your family for moves they may not be ready to make and it can be tough on children. R&M helps make those transitions bearable, they help you prepare you and your family for situations like this. I have worked for other large companies that do not do this very well. R&M takes a valued interest in your family and your life.

Cons

I can't say I know of any cons, and/or downsides to working for R&M. Again, this is building construction we are talking about, the majority of our employees must be on/at the jobsite, it's the nature of the business. There are opportunities to be in the office and R&M helps you get to that stage in your career if that is what you are looking for.

Pros

I love that the company makes an effort to share what happens accross the company (since we are geographically diverse it can be hard to know what is going on elsewhere) but also the Building forward connect event incredible (where our whole company met up to learn and grow from each other). Our benefit packages are a direct reflection of how much our upper management cares about all team members. I am always challenged to be my best self.

Cons

Depending on your stage of life the potential for travel can be difficult.

I have been fortunate to work with Robins & Morton for nearly 20 years and they have always treated me fairly and shown great concern for me and my family. My best friends work for this company and couldn't imagine working anywhere else.

Cons

The relocation can be difficult at times, however, I consider myself very lucky to have experienced every place that we have been to. I also know that Robins & Morton will work with me to ensure my career is fulfilling.
