Super fast paced so not a good fit for box checkers looking for a 9-5 job

Smart people, hard challenges, huge scope and lots of MAUs to try out the things you release. Really rewards taking initiative. Few click-punchers.

Cons

Scope of what we're trying to solve is huge, and it can be hard to keep your eyes on the vision. You have to take initiative to get things done.

Toxic environment with no job security

Pros

Campus location is decent. Userbase is engaged. Kids love Roblox.

Cons

Toxic culture. Poor work-life balance. Backstabbing and politics. Desk space is cramped and limited. People treated poorly, as if replaceable. Employees fired regularly without notice. Too much churn. Managers are aggressive, confrontational, micromanagers. Leaders don't inspire by example, preferring to rely on authority and order people around. No learning or growth. Results prioritized over improvement. Lots of people just here for pay, or H-1B visa sponsorship. Few native speakers. Few people genuinely care about their work. Low morale.
