Thank you for your feedback. We firmly believe that every employee deserves great leaders – someone who inspires and motivates. We expect this from all Roche leaders so that employees are supported with opportunities to continually discover, learn, develop and excel. We strive to hire and engage awesome and talented people throughout our company. We want our employees to be heard, challenged, and inspired every day. We also believe that as we hire more diverse talent, we will have more diverse thought, experiences, and leadership styles that will continue to help us grow and elevate as a company.

Pros

It's an excellent place to learn. Great travel opportunities. Bonuses can easily exceed the target if the company has a good year. Good stability and work/life balance. Awesome health insurance and other benefits.

Cons

The PM role is more administrative than leading, and it shows. Easy to be pigeonholed, as roles are highly specialized. For the same reason, it can be hard to grow. The usual office politics, though not as bad compared to other places.

We’re glad we’ve been able to support you in creating the work-life balance that matters most to you. We believe that a healthy balance between the two is imperative to the overall happiness of our employees and therefore the success of our organization. At Roche, we view career development as a journey that often involves multiple paths. Upward mobility is one path. Embracing opportunities to broaden skills and experiences across the business, or exploring new possibilities are alternative paths. Ultimately, individuals are responsible for their own career, but we provide the tools and a workplace where the job description does not define who you are. Rather, it serves as the starting point for your career journey. We’re all working to create a healthier future for everyone, and we start by remembering that when we are growing and thriving as individuals, the more we’re able to give to others. We encourage employees to take advantage of internal development opportunities, or our gigs, which are a great tool for people from diverse backgrounds to network and grow their skill sets quickly. We encourage employees to leverage conversations with their managers or leaders to discuss what might be next in their career.
