Pros

The benefits were okay, but not outstanding. Offer tuition reimbursement, but only 50%.

Cons

The other reviews you see here about poor management are 100% true. Longtime employees are allowed to bully their direct reports and upper management turns a blind eye. You can be an exemplary employee and all it will get you is more bullying and then a claim that you're not performing. Managers play all sides and badmouth direct reports behind their back to other teammates. Do not recommend at all. I can't wait to see HR's response to this about how things are changing. It's all bull. You can't polish a sneaker. The M.O. at Rochester is "pass the buck, point the finger and cover your own behind".

We continue to focus on supporting and enforcing a workplace free of discrimination and bullying, and our leaders care a great deal for our people. We are investing in continuous management training to bolster awareness and appropriate response to concerns, performance issues, and people management. For privacy reasons, we do not discuss individual situations. As we continue to go through this period of rapid growth and evolution as a company, holding employees accountable to meet the responsibilities of their jobs is not bullying. We strive to create a fair, safe, productive and positive working environment for all on our growing team. Please send any further comments or questions you may have to humanresources@rocelec.com so we can address and support as helpful.

Pros

Benefits are good pay isn’t alright

Cons

Management is a big club and you aren’t in it. Enjoy doing their job without the pay or the title. It has become a sinking ship and they refuse to do anything about it.

Pros

Good work life balance, good medical benefits, good people to work with, Provide real unique value to customers

Cons

The company has outgrown family leadership. The sons are smart and want to see the company grow but don't have the ability or experience to make that happen. They also have no sense of what it means to lead or how their actions/words impact the company - good or bad. You cant hide in your office, send out an email about a change you want to make (in culture, on-line systems, CRM, ERP etc) and really believe that everyone will get in line and your job is done. Very cheap with salary, raises, commissions. Although they have good benefits, they over value them in the overall compensation and pay well below the market
