Pros

Unfortunately, I do not have any Pro's besides the few friendships I will take away with a few co-workers that I was sad to leave behind.

Cons

To set the stage for someone that does not know, the merger was a complete take over of Unity by RGH Leadership. They have single handily taken out most of the Unity folks in the organization. The culture is nonexistent, they have no value of their employees and a complete disregard to forming a culture. This is all being driven from he "RGH Culture/Way" The business has turned into a cut throat, backstabbing organization. Where it is normal and supported for Senior Leaders talk about each other and will do anything to get themselves ahead. Which then trickles down to their team, and shows their team that its OK to act/behave like that. The amount of gossip between senior individuals is appalling and uncomfortable. Human Resources is being led by individuals with minimal experience in the recruitment/ Human Relations field. The individuals leading HR are more worried about their status in the community and organization then what is going on within their department. They will use anyone in the HR function to get ahead by throwing their team under the bus and putting the blame some where else. Leaving ZERO accountability. The new CEO is more concerned about finding his way around Rochester and finding the latest and greatest restaurant then bringing two large health systems together and building a culture. He has no idea/understanding of the real issues that are underlying. He has made zero effort in rounding with staff and addressing their concerns. He has shared no vision, and strategic plan for the new health system. His first few months he changed the logo and brand that employees voted on and designed themselves prior to him getting there. It makes me sick to see a health care organization who is supposed to value and take care of the community not even able to take care of their own employees. Their new commercial and marketing plan is comical. I would bet most employees laugh watching as they tell the community that they "take care of their own" yet the amount of staff leaving that organization will show they do not take care of their own.

Pros

Great group of nurses to work with. Get to save lives for a living.

Cons

No support from management (manager, director, human resources). Just a warm body. No value placed on knowledge or experience. Sent home early a lot.
