Team cohesion is non existent, management is cold and impersonal, you will never receive a thank you from your direct boss, if they could implant a GPS tracker in your arm they would but for now it's a check in/out procedure on a dry erase board, lack of consistency, good luck to those trying to make it to retirement. When did people skills go out the window?

Benefits were good; program concept excellent; clientele very deserving

Cons

Poor value system, unprofessional, unequal treatment of staff, goes against the mental health profession creed of unconditional positive regard (very disrespectful). Does not value staff diversity in spite of large service to low income diverse individuals. Counselors seem to do some of the work of upper management based on state job descriptions.
