Research environment with no teaching responsibilities, excellent benefits, and availability of university-subsidized housing for academic staff. Excellent location on the lower Upper East Side of NYC.

Cons

This is mostly a biomedical institution, organized as a collection of independent labs. There are no departments: no philosophy, no literature, no mathematics, no history, etc., so exchange of ideas is limited.
