Pros

They take care of their employees well. But ever since going public, you never know if your job will exist in the future.

Cons

Constant layoffs, no matter experience or talent level.

Pros

Good look at enterprise level (and below) software practices and tools

Cons

You need to be very self-motivated to learn, and continue to keep this as you trudge along with your assignments with minimal support. Management seems very concerned with retaining people through good feelings, and not tangible benefits. I make less money this year than last year when you factor in inflation. No path to progressing forward within the company.
